Languages
Questions are in German (as on the official exam), but the app interface and explanations support six languages so you can fully understand every answer.
LiD Trainer ("the App") is developed and operated by Weinblatt ("we", "us", "our"), an independent software developer based in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
The short version: LiD Trainer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not require account registration. We do not have access to your name, email address, location, or any other personal identifiers.
The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using Apple's standard data storage mechanisms (SwiftData):
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data permanently.
LiD Trainer does not use any third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising frameworks. We do not use Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, or any similar service. The App contains no advertising and does not serve ads of any kind.
Apple may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data through the App Store as part of their standard platform services. This data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and is not accessible to us in a personally identifiable form.
LiD Trainer is free to use. The App offers an optional, voluntary donation to support development. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple through their In-App Purchase system (StoreKit 2). We do not receive, process, or store any payment card or financial information. Your purchase history is managed by your Apple ID and Apple's servers.
LiD Trainer is intended for adults preparing for the German integration exam. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. As described above, we do not collect personal data from any user, regardless of age.
As an app that does not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete on our end. All data the App stores resides locally on your device and can be removed at any time by deleting the App.
